1. General Information
The qCivic application (hereinafter the “App”) is managed by Eng. Pier Luigi Papeschi (hereinafter the “Operator”). The App offers address-based communication services to users worldwide.
Use of the App constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept them, do not use qCivic.
By using our App, you agree to these Terms.
2. Scope of Service
qCivic is not a substitute of the classic street number or doorbell, qCivic allows users to access communication services via a physical address based on geospatial coordinates and purchase additional features through in-app payments or on our websites.
By creating an account and adding it to the qCivic, you acknowledge and agree to be added to a list that the Operator may make accessible to service providers. However, you can authorize or deny access to these services based on your app settings.
3. Requirements for Use
The App may only be used by persons over the age of 18, or, if a minor, with the consent of a parent/guardian. The user is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
Any appropriation of a qCivic that cannot be legally proven to be their property may be cancelled by the operator without notice and without the possibility of receiving a refund. Furthermore, in serious cases, legal action may be taken.
4. Registration and Account
To access certain features, a free account is required. The user must keep their credentials confidential and notify the operator immediately of any unauthorized access.
By using the app and creating an account, you acknowledge that you will be added to a list that the operator can share with its customers and authorize the sending of notifications on the app regarding the services you decide to activate.
5. Purchases and Payments
- Some qCivic services are paid.
- Payments are made using the methods supported by the App & our web sites.
- Refunds are not provided, unless otherwise required by law.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the App (trademarks, logos, code, text) is the property of Pier Luigi Papeschi and protected by copyright. Unauthorized copying, modification, or distribution of content is prohibited.
7. Liability
The App is provided “as is” with no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The Operator is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the App.
The use of the services provided by the App and the manner in which they are used are the sole responsibility of the user. Any abuse or improper use may result in suspension of the account, and in more serious cases, deletion.
We are not responsible for events outside of our control.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Use of the App is subject to the Privacy Policy, which governs the collection and processing of personal data.
qCivic complies with the GDPR and applicable international regulations.
9. Changes to the Terms
The Operator reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on the website and will become effective upon posting.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Lucca.
